Champagne and Chocolate

Like indulging in gourmet treats, jewelry can be luxury steeped in ritual, desire and meaning. The title of this series reflects a creative decadence, (tempered by challenging economic times) for both the artist/maker as well as the buyer/wearer.
Graphic explorations in embossing and collections of found objects are submerged, frozen and preserved in resin and time. The potential wearer is invited to peer into the watery depths and discover images that resonate. When a connection is made, the whole becomes greater than the sum of its parts.
