Susan and her husband, Louie, live on Cypress Lake. The 300-acre lake, most of which, is covered with Cypress trees, is located in Statesboro, Georgia. This wetland provides a vast variety of themes for the creative artist to explore. Its beautiful and ever-changing scenery and wildlife charge the imagination. 

Family, Cypress Lake (home) and travels are the subject matter for Susan’s compositions. Her use of acrylics is sometimes delicate like watercolors and at times splashed with thicker paint. Susan uses color to express the emotional aspects in a composition.
